Taxonomy
Undescribed.
A.-trifasciata-Lineage
A.-trifasciata-Sublineage
A.-brevis-Group
Distribution and habitat
Upper Río Vaupés, Colombia
We discovered this species here, in February 2017:

There is a small lake behind the trees. Not pure blackwater, but influenced by such.
My Experience
There is a potential for aggression, even towards the opposite sex, but I have never seen any serious injuries.
Breeding
They breed if the environment is right. I keep them in very soft water with a pH between 4.5 to 5.5 and lots of humic substances. And of course fine sand with leaf litter as substrate. I also have many plants, including floating plants.
