"Aphyoditeinae" (as a subfamily form (Géry 1972)) is just a term for small-sized tetra genera which currently could not be placed anywhere else.

Distribution and habitat

We found this beautiful Tetra in 2012, in the Río Putumayo-drainage in Peru.

Black-ish water; pH: 5.03  Conductivity: 10 microSiemens/cm  Temperature: 25.6°C
