A few pictures from Tamshiyacu Oct. 2008
by Tom Christoffersen
We went up the Amazon, and then the Río Tamshiyacu, as passengers in this boat
and after more than 4 hours, we arrived the town of Tamshiyacu:
In the jungle, in this small quebrada:
we collected this wonderful form of A. agassizii. This might be the rare form called Apistogramma cf. agassizii "Pastel" (A239)
In an other quebrada:
we collected this beautiful form of A. agassizii, a color form that I've never seen before:
I will make a report later, when I come home, with more pictures, including the river dolphins in the Río Tamshiyacu.
