Distribution and habitat

Small forests creeks (Rio Santiago-drainage) in the Rio Maranon-drainage between the Rio Pastaza and the Rio Tigre, about oposite the mouth of Rio Huallaga, departemento Loreto, Peru.

My Experience


I brought some wild fish with me from the 2009-trip, and put the group of 2 males and 3 females in a 160 liter tank (100x40x40cm). After 1,5 weeks one pair was breeding!
