My Experience

We collected this fish in several smal streams in the surroundings of the town Leticia, Colombia, in October 2008.

Mainly in black.water, with pH 4,6 - 6,1, Conductivity between 7 and 46 microSiemens/cm, and in temperatures between 26,1 and 28,3 °C.

Breeding

In a tank with soft, peat-filtered water and a pH between 5 and 6, they breed continuously
